Woodward Dream Cruise 2008

Woodward Dream Cruise 2008

What is the Woodward Dream Cruise, you ask?  It is the most Awesome, Exciting thing....if you LOVE Cars, as I do.

I packed my kids up this year, grabbed my camera and went on the most riveting adventure of my life!  It was perfect!  I had my kids, other members of my family, my camera, and I was surrounded by CARS!  And not just cars sitting there for you to look at!  They were cruising up and down Woodward Avenue...Showing us what was under the hood!  What more could you ask for?

There were so many things to look at.  My son really liked Mustang Alley.  I have to admit, there were some pretty cool Mustangs.  I prefer the ones that Roush Racing puts out, but that is just me.  My favorite is the "Black Jack."  I would take one of those.

All of the classics were there.  Even the new models.  Ford Fairlanes, Baracuda's, Pacers. Smart Cars, Dodge Chargers, Dodge Challengers, Trans Ams, Firebirds, Ford GT's, Mustangs, Customized cars, even Harley Davidson Motorcycles....just to name a few.

We even saw some cars that were totally redone inside and out with Cherry wood.  I kid you not.  I have never seen anything like that before!

Then we came across the Camaro's.  We saw the classic Z28's, the classic SS's.  Then we saw the 2000-2001 models.  Of course, I love the newer models, but you just can't beat the classics!  Try explaining this to a 15 year old boy!  He wasn't buying it!  But I was in heaven!

At the end of the day, 85 photos later, my kids were done.  They had seen enough!  I cherish these memories with my kids, and although they think I am crazy because I love cars so much....they will appreciate it someday...they say otherwise, however, when I pull up in the driveway with a Camaro and they want to drive it...They will change their minds!  I guarantee it!
